Emmanuelle Chaulet is an international film actress, director, acting coach and author.
Emmanuelle is the founder and director of Starlight Acting Institute, which offers individual and group training in holistic acting. She is Adjunct Faculty at the University of Southern Maine Department of Theatre.
She is a certified Energy Awareness Counselor, REIKI and RYSE® III Practitioner (CRPL3) from the Polarity Realization Institute of Massachusetts and Maine as well as Gaiadon Heart technique Facilitator. Since 1998, she has developed and applied a unique technique for actors called ENERGIZE, which incorporates Energy Awareness and Clearing techniques for creativity development, character work and emotional re-balancing. ENERGIZE breaks grounds with the concept of 'character vibration'.
She is the author of A BALANCING ACT, THE DEVELOPMENT OF ENERGIZE A HOLISTIC APPROACH TO ACTING, in which she articulates her approach.
She studied acting and the Michael Chekhov technique with Robert Cordier in Paris, France and with Mala Powers of the International Chekhov Institute USA. A Fulbright Scholar at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York, she is a theatre director, teacher and actress with over 20 years of experience in theatre and film both in France and the U.S. Lead film roles include “Boyfriend and Girlfriends” by French New Wave master Eric Rohmer, and “All the Vermeers in New York” by Jon Jost, 1991 winner of the best American independent film award, as well as “SUNDOWNING,” by Jim Cole, winner of the Cinequest Emerging Mavericks/ New Vision award.
She is a member of ACMHE, the Association for Contemplative Mind in Higher Education, ANPACT, the Association for the New Paradigm in Acting and Creative Techniques, and has been included in the prestigious “Who’s Who in America” since 2007.
